This Privacy Policy explains how SocialPlay AI Limited ("we", "us", "our"), 71–75 Shelton Street, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom, collects and uses information when you use any of our games and apps (the "Service"). It covers all SocialPlay AI titles.
Using Chily? Chily is a conversation app, not a game, and it handles data differently: no account, no ads, and your messages are sent to an AI model provider to generate replies. The parts of this policy about game accounts, friends, notifications, and advertising do not apply to it. See the Chily privacy page, which governs that app.
You can play our games without creating an account or giving your name or email. We keep data collection to what an app needs to run, improve, and (in free apps) show ads. Not every app collects every item below — an app collects only what its features require.
Account & identifiers
Information you provide
Collected automatically
Identifiers such as anonymous user IDs, IP addresses, and advertising IDs can be personal data under UK GDPR, so we treat them accordingly. Our games do not require your real name, email, phone number, contacts, or precise location to play; we only receive such details if you choose to send them to us.
Some titles let you optionally protect your progress by linking to Google Play Games (Android) or Apple Game Center (iOS). If you do, we may receive a platform-specific player identifier and limited profile information made available by that provider, depending on the features you use and your platform privacy settings. We never receive your platform password. Linking lets your progress and friends survive reinstalling the app or changing devices, and is always optional — you are never required to sign in to play.
We process personal information only where we have a valid legal basis. Depending on the activity, we rely on: performance of our contract with you (providing the game, saved progress, and multiplayer); our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving our games (including crash reporting and analytics); compliance with legal obligations; and your consent where required, including for certain advertising or tracking.
Our free, ad-supported apps use Unity Ads. Depending on your device, privacy choices, location, and applicable law, Unity may process information such as device identifiers, advertising identifiers, IP address, general location derived from IP address, device and app information, ad interactions, and related technical data to deliver, measure, secure, and (where permitted) personalise advertising. See Unity's policy: https://unity.com/legal/game-player-and-app-user-privacy-policy
On iOS, where Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework applies, we request permission before accessing the IDFA or engaging in tracking that requires permission. You can decline and continue to play the game normally.
We use third-party service providers and technology partners to operate our games, provide analytics and crash reporting, deliver notifications, support platform gaming features, and show advertising:
We do not sell your personal information for money. Some advertising activities may be considered a "sale", "sharing", or "targeted advertising" under certain privacy laws; where applicable, we provide or honour the legally required privacy choices.
We retain game account and progress data while your account remains active and for a reasonable period afterwards where needed to allow restoration, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, or comply with legal obligations. Analytics, advertising, crash, and diagnostic data are retained according to our own retention settings and those of the relevant service providers. Support correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably necessary to resolve your enquiry and keep appropriate records.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information, including to: access it; correct inaccurate information; request deletion; restrict or object to certain processing; withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and request portability. To exercise any of these, email support@socialplayai.com; we may need information to verify your request and locate the relevant game account.
If you are in the United Kingdom, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (https://ico.org.uk).
You can reset local progress in an app's settings. To delete the data associated with your account you can:
We will delete your Firebase account, profile, and progress data, subject to any information we must retain for legal or fraud-prevention reasons.
Our games are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it. We assess each app individually; child-directed titles, if any, follow the additional store and legal requirements.
We and our service providers may process personal information in countries other than where you live. Where required by applicable law, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers — such as recognised contractual protections or other legally permitted transfer mechanisms.
We use commercially reasonable measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
We may update this policy and will post the new version here with an updated date.
